I thought I would feel like a Ballerina…

Happy Tuesday, friends! I meant to get this post out yesterday but I was suffering from a serious case of the Monday’s! Thankfully, today is a new day and I’m pushing through because my sweet hubby booked a spa day for me tomorrow and I am so excited about it! 😍

Over the weekend my family and I attended the wedding of two of my high school friends and we had a blast. The wedding was in Aubrey, Texas at The Milestone which was so, so beautiful! I absolutely love weddings, they remind me of my own and make me so giddy! I also love cake and an open bar. 😉

So, on Friday before the wedding I was talking with a girlfriend about what I was planning on wearing and trying to pick out something different and she said “oh I know, you’ve got to wear my pink tulle skirt!” I know my mouth must have dropped when she said that because A. It was the total opposite of what I had in mind to wear and B. I didn’t think I could pull off a pink ballerina skirt. I acquiesced and she let me borrow her skirt. Which, by the way, I’ve now ordered in 2 different colors because I’m that obsessed with the look. I loved how it wasn’t the traditional outfit for a wedding guest and that it made me feel so feminine and classic. Advice to all the ladies: go buy yourself a tulle skirt, immediately. Not only are they beautiful and feminine but they are so flattering on any body type.

Below the photos I have linked similar products you can buy directly by clicking the links.

Leather Jacket: Topshop (sold out in white, still available in black), Similar, I love this option under $50 | White Top: Banana Republic, Similar $12 | Tulle Skirt: Similar, Similar, $26, Burgundy, Light Blue | Shoes: Vince Camuto Also, these shoes are my new favorite! I’ve had them for about 2 months now and I am in love with them. The first few times I wore them, they did hurt my feet but after having broken them in they are so comfortable! At the wedding on Saturday night I had a total Mom fail moment and forgot one of my breast pump parts and long story short I had to drive 20 minutes to the nearest target after the ceremony to buy the part I was missing. What I’m getting at here is between all of the walking in Target and back and forth to the car, plus a night full of dancing. These shoes held up so well and my feet did not hurt at all the next day! Bonus is that they come in 20 different colors! You’re welcome.😊
