Transition to Fall

Transition to Fall

Happy Monday friends! Labor Day has passed and I’m still wearing white. 💁🏻 #noshame I’m not going to stop wearing my white jeans until we have a string of at least 5 days in the 70’s or below. However, I have started mixing in warmer colors like this forest green tank from Target which is currently on sale 2 for $14! I also love brown leather in the fall and these designer dupe sandals are only $25! Shop my full look below.Top: here, also purchased the one in leopard  Jeans: Gap-nearly 8 years old but found a similar pair under $50, under $100, and $100+   Shoes: Slide Sandals I really love these!  Bag: Madewell I also really want this one!ke and I were both off today so we took advantage of the beautiful weather at Press Cafe for lunch. It has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in Fort Worth with a low-key vibe and beautiful patio right off the Trinity river which is great for people watching! They also have a really good brunch on the weekends and free iced coffee refills! 😍

Also, a quick PSA, Bath and Body Works has their 3-wick candles on sale for $12.50 when you buy 2 or more and the sale ends today! I stocked up on all my fall favorites this weekend.  What are your favorite fall candles?

Thanks for reading!

First of all, thank you for taking time out of your day to read my blog! Frankly Fort Worth has been in my mind for a few years now, though it’s taken a big life event for me to actually put it into play. I wanted to start this blog while my husband, Luke, (I’ll talk about this guy a lot!) and I lived in California (2014-2015) but how was I supposed to live my Frankly Fort Worth life 1,200 miles away from home? I put my aspirations to blog on hold while our life was in transition to move back home to Fort Worth and settle down after our marriage in September 2015. Life changed tremendously on June 6, 2017 when Luke and I welcomed into the world our precious son, Hogan (I’ll talk about this boy a lot, too!). Ever since that day our life seems like it has been flying by and we just fall more and more in love with our boy everyday-how is that even possible?! So as my final days of maternity leave were upon us Luke and I sat down to discuss the new changes we would face with me going back to work. After hours of heart to heart discussion (you know, not continuously of course, because we have an infant who’s already interrupting us) we decided that the best decision for our family was for me to go back part-time. So, with each day passing quicker than the day before and a little more time on my hands at home I decided to follow through with my dreams and activate Frankly Fort Worth where I will write about our daily life, my style, food, fitness, home decor and of course all of the things I love about Fort Worth, Texas! Hope you enjoy!
